Rapid Fire! 2nd edition by Colin Rumford and Richard Marsh

The original Rapid Fire! was based on our club rules.  During the 80’s and early 90’s the ruleset was playtested and developed at our club.  If you read the forewords and acknowledgments of the rulebooks and scenario booklets you will come across the names Dave Tuck, Mal Taylor, Martin Buck, Steve Walker and Danny Malone.  These are all Grimsby Wargames Society members. In 2005 at the Salute Wargames Show, Rapid Fire 2! was launched (see picture left). Since then, Mark Piper, whose website is listed below has had his scenarios for downloading and viewing at the Official Rapid Fire! site on the Rapid Fire! Scenarios page.

In 2007 Valiant Miniatures was launched. All the figures and weapons in the boxes from Valiant are all designed so that a Rapid Fire! Battalion can be assembled from just one box.
